Now there are chances of a triangular fight in the recruitment of 69000 teachers: After the order of the Lucknow Bench of the High Court on Friday on the recruitment of 69000 assistant teachers in council primary schools, a situation of a triangular fight has arisen. One side is of those teachers of the unreserved category who are working. Although the officers of the Basic Education Department have not released the list of these affected teachers in the last two and a half years, but after Friday's decision, now the teachers of the unreserved category have started uniting and preparations are on to file a Special Leave Petition (SLP) in the Supreme Court on their behalf.
The other side is of 6800 candidates of reserved category whose list was released by the state government on January 5, 2022, just before the assembly elections. The list of these 6800 candidates has been cancelled twice by the Lucknow Bench of the High Court. On March 13, 2023, the single bench had cancelled the list of 6800 but ordered to make a policy for the adjustment of those candidates of unreserved category who are included in the current list and have been working for two years but may be out when the revised list is released. After the cancellation of the list of 6800, now these candidates are preparing to file a caveat in the Supreme Court.
The third party is of those candidates from reserved category who are talking about scam in 19000 seats in this recruitment. These candidates say that in the recruitment, backward class candidates have been given only 3.86 percent reservation instead of 27 percent and scheduled caste category has been given only 16.2 percent reservation instead of 21 percent.
Now that the High Court has cancelled the list of 6800 and ordered to make a fresh selection list, the enthusiasm of these candidates who have been fighting for reservation for three years is at its peak and they are adamant on fighting this battle till the Supreme Court.
