UGC NET June 2024 Re-exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released that the UGC NET 2024 re-exam will be conducted through CBT (Computer Based Test). The re-exam of UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted on 21st August.
During the announcement of UGC NET, NTA had clearly stated that the re-exam of UGC NET 2024 will be conducted in CBT mode, which was earlier conducted through pen-paper in offline mode. With this change, the agency has returned to its old method, in the past years the UGC NET exam was conducted in CBT mode only. In the official notice, NDA has said that “UGC NET June 2024 exam was earlier conducted through pen-paper in offline mode. However, now this exam will be conducted again in computer based test mode.”
Let us tell you that NTA had conducted the UGC NET 2024 exam on June 18, 2024. At that time the NEET paper leak case was very much discussed in the country and the NEET paper leak case was going on in the Supreme Court. In such a situation, the rumor of UGC NET exam paper leak also spread a lot, due to which NTA canceled the exam on June 19, a day after the paper and announced to conduct re-examination. After this, NTA released the schedule of UGC NET exam re-examination, according to which UGC NET exam will be conducted from 21 August to 4 September 2024.
How to Check UGC NET Exam 2024 Admit Card-
1. First of all you have to go to the official website of the commission ugcnet.nta.nic.in will go on.
2. After that you will see the link of UGC NET 2024 Admit Card on the home page. Click on the link.
3. After this you will have to enter your application number and date of birth to log in.
4. Now the UGC NET admit card will open in front of you.
5. Now you can download your admit card.
6. After this, take a printout of your admit card for the exam.
The UGC NET exam will be conducted through CBT. The exam will be conducted on 83 subjects from 21 August to 4 September 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift timing is from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift timing is from 3 pm to 6 pm. The agency conducts UGC-NET June 2024 for (i) 'Award of Junior Research Fellowship and Appointment as Assistant Professor', (ii) 'Appointment as Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D' and (iii) 'Admission to Ph.D only'.
