PU Entrance Exam 2024: After one year, enrollment in Patna University will be done again on the basis of entrance examination. In this regard, a proposal has been sent to the Raj Bhavan by the PU administration. The application process will start as soon as permission is received from Raj Bhavan. In the past, admission to undergraduate BA, BSc and BCom courses in Patna University has been based on entrance examination. But last year, due to the implementation of semester system in four-year undergraduate courses, enrollment was taken on the basis of Inter marks. The nomination process was changed after the application process started last year.
Patna University in Bihar has been taking admission in graduation only on the basis of entrance examination. In the remaining universities, enrollment is done on intermediate basis. There is enrollment for about five thousand seats in different colleges of PU. At the same time, enrollment for vocational courses is also done on the basis of entrance examination and interview. Applications are taken together for all colleges. At the time of application, students have to give the option of colleges only as per their preference. After Patna University, the first choice of students of Bihar is to enroll in any other university.

Kumar, Registrar of Patna University, Prof. Khagendra said that the proposal has been sent to Raj Bhavan. This year's academic calendar has also been prepared. The further process will be started as soon as Raj Bhavan's permission is received. Applications will be started from 18th April. Applications will be taken till May 20.
University warned against taking arbitrary amount:
The colleges of Patliputra University are charging more than the prescribed fee for filling enrollment and examination forms. In this regard, apart from various student organizations, common students have also lodged their objections with the university. After the complaint, Student Welfare Chairman Professor AK Nag has written a letter to all the principals directing them not to charge any fee other than the scheduled examination and enrollment fees without any delay. It has also been said that if any extra amount has been taken by any college, it should be immediately returned to the students. Even after this, if any complaint or information is received about charging additional fees from the students, then considering it as a criminal matter, disciplinary action will be taken against them as per law.
Graduation exam forms will be filled by 18:
The examination forms for the first, second and third year of the graduation session 2021-2024, 2022-2025 will be filled by March 18. In this regard, it has been said that only those students who ensure 75 percent attendance in all the colleges will be allowed to fill the examination form this year. For this, the university has given the rights to fill the examination forms only to the colleges. On the other hand, Controller of Examinations Dr. Manoj Kumar said that for graduation part one and two, general and BC II candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 700 each.
