There is good news for teachers, officers and employees deprived of old pension in 13 non-government colleges of Uttarakhand. The government has started the process of giving them old pension. The Higher Education Department has sought details of such teachers, officers and employees from these colleges. On Wednesday, a letter has been sent by the In-charge Director of Higher Education to the management and principals of all the colleges in this regard. There are a large number of teachers and employees in these non-government colleges who have been selected on the basis of the release before October 1, 2005. But their appointment took place much after this, these people are out of the scope of the old pension scheme. But now soon they will be added to the old pension scheme. For this, the Higher Education Department has started the exercise.
This letter has been sent to all the colleges by Dr. Annu Aggarwal, Director-in-charge, Higher Education. It has been said in the letter that the government has decided to add all the teachers, officers and employees recruited through the release before October 1, 2005, in the old pension. Colleges should provide complete details of such employees along with their list to the Directorate.
