Preparations for counseling for NEET-UG 2024 have started at Motilal Nehru Medical College. There are 200 MBBS seats in the medical college. Counseling for All India quota of 15 percent seats will start from August 14. Counseling related work will be done at the Tele Medicine Center of SRN Hospital. Guidelines for counseling have been issued. The schedule of state level counseling is yet to be released. The schedule has been released by the Medical Counseling Committee (SCC). There are 200 seats in the medical college and 30 of these seats are from All India quota. These will be compensated by this counseling. Many important works are being done in the 61-year-old medical college and Swaroop Rani Hospital, which will also benefit the students of the medical college this time.
The institutes will prepare the merit list for their MBBS/BDS seats based on the All India Rank. The counselling process will be initiated by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NTA has said in its notification that when candidates apply in their state, they have to mention their category as per the state category list. The state counselling authorities will prepare their merit list accordingly.
