Pro. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) Undergraduate-Masters even semester examinations in State University and affiliated colleges will be completed in just 30 days due to the general elections this time, whereas earlier it used to be completed in 45 to 55 days. The university administration has prepared a detailed action plan for the examination. Even semester examination will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, examination of UG-PG and professional courses is proposed in the second phase.
Preparations are on to conduct the first phase of the examination between April 15 and May. This time, preparations are on to conduct the examination at 189 centers of the division (Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi and Fatehpur). Approximately 5.25 lakh students are registered to appear in the even semester examinations. Regarding the examination, Controller of Examination Prof. Vineeta Yadav has issued a notification on the website saying that even semester examinations are proposed from the second week of April.
Second phase examinations from June 5
Counting of votes for the general elections will take place on June 4. The university administration is preparing to conduct the second phase even semester examination between June 5 and June 15. This includes LLB, B.Ed and MSc Agriculture courses.
Get practical exam done before written exam
It has been made mandatory for colleges to conduct practicals and viva even before the semester examinations. This decision has been taken in view of the delay in getting the marks of practical examination and viva. Also, it has been made clear to the colleges that they must upload the marks on the portal. The Controller of Examinations has directed about 702 colleges to conduct internal examinations, practicals and oral examinations even before the start of the written examination.
