For candidates belonging to SC/ST and BC categories from Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh, the application fee is Rs 800.
For candidates from other categories, the application fee is Rs 1000.
Candidates applying for the Judgment Writer positions must meet specific performance criteria. They are required to demonstrate a shorthand detection speed of 120 words per minute in English. Their transcription speed on a computer must be 24 words per minute, with no more than 5 percent mistakes allowed.
The shorthand detection test will last for 10 minutes, while the transcription test will also be for 10 minutes and is graded out of 10 marks. To pass the transcription test, candidates must achieve at least 40 percent of the total marks. Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs 10,300 – Rs 34,800 with a grade pay of Rs 4,800.
