Candidates of Junior Engineer Recruitment of Railway Recruitment Board will be able to check their application status from tomorrow 23 October 2024. RRB has issued a notice saying that the scrutiny of JE recruitment applications has been completed and candidates will be able to check their application status by visiting www.rrbapply.gov.in. Candidates can check the status of their applications under (i) Provisionally Accepted (ii) Provisionally Accepted with Conditions and (iii) Rejected (with reasons) using their login details. This link to check application status will be live from 23 October 2024. SMS and email will be sent to the candidates' registered mobile number and email ID given in the application regarding application status.

Through this recruitment, 7951 posts of Junior Engineer will be recruited in Railways. The vacancies include 7934 vacancies of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant for various Railway Recruitment Boards. Apart from this, there are 17 vacancies for Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research for Gorakhpur RRB. CBT-1 of Railway JE recruitment exam is proposed between 6th December to 13th December 2024.
Selection Process – First Stage CBT, Second Stage CBT, Document Verification and Medical. The duration of CBT 1 exam is 90 minutes and duration of CBT 2 exam is 120 minutes. CBT 1 will have 100 questions and CBT 2 will have 150 questions.
There will be negative marking of one-third mark for wrong answers in CBT.
