Rajasthan BSTC Pre DElEd Exam 2024: So far 2.10 lakh applications have been received for Rajasthan BSTC Pre DElEd exam. The last date for application is 31 May 2024. Last year, 6.19 lakh students applied in which 5.70 lakh appeared for the exam. Youth who want to get eligibility for primary teacher recruitment can apply by visiting predeledraj2024.in. This exam is conducted for admission to D.El.Ed, a two-year teacher education course required to become a teacher in elementary education. 12th pass can apply for this. Under a major change, this year the question papers of Pre-DElEd exam will be printed separately in Hindi and English language. Separate papers will be given in the medium selected by the candidate, English or Hindi. The choice of medium will be taken from the candidates at the time of application itself. This means that the question papers of Pre-DElEd exam will be printed separately in Hindi and English language. Earlier, every year, this exam used to have both Hindi and English languages ​​in the same question paper. It used to have around 32 to 40 pages. Now after the change, the paper will be just 16 to 20 pages long.

This time the responsibility of conducting the Pre D.El.Ed. examination has been given to Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota (VMOU). Earlier this examination was conducted by the Registrar Departmental Examinations, Bikaner. This examination will be conducted for admission to about 26 thousand seats in 376 D.El.Ed. colleges in the state.

Ability
Candidates securing 50% marks in class 12 in general category are eligible to apply for Pre- D.El.Ed. Whereas 45% marks are prescribed for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, Divyang).

Maximum Age Limit
The maximum age of application should not be more than 28 years as on 1st July 2024. There will be relaxation in age limit for Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes / Most Backward Classes / EWS and Women as per the provisions / rules laid down by the Rajasthan State Government.

Admission to educational institutions will be given on the basis of the options filled by the students in BSTS counseling. Teacher education institutes/institutions will be allotted to the candidates through counseling.

Selection- Written exam followed by counseling. 200 MCQ type questions will be asked in the written exam.

Application Fees
D.El.Ed. General or Sanskrit either- Rs.450
D.El.Ed. General or Sanskrit both – Rs 500

Outside candidates will be given admission on the basis of merit on a maximum of 5 percent seats of the admission capacity. Candidates from outside Rajasthan will be counted in the general category.
