There is a good opportunity for 10th, 12th pass and graduate youth to get a job in Bihar Legislative Council Secretariat. This recruitment was released in March 2024 but now the application window for this recruitment has been opened once again. Under advertisement number 02/2024, recruitment of Assistant Branch Officer, Data Entry Operator and Stenographer was released, while under advertisement number 03/2024, recruitment was done for the vacant posts of Office Attendant (Night Watchman), Office Attendant (Doorman) and Office Attendant (Sweeper). Applications can now be made for these posts between 18 September 2024 to 27 September 2024. Interested candidates can apply by visiting biharvidhanparishad.gov.in. Candidates who have already applied for this recruitment do not need to apply again.

10th pass can apply for the post of Office Attendant whereas Graduate can apply for the post of Assistant Branch Officer, 12th pass for Data Entry Operator and Graduation pass can apply for the recruitment of Stenographer.

Important information for first applicants

In the above recruitment, the candidates of Tanti Tatva caste who had earlier claimed Paan / Swasi caste on the basis of Scheduled Caste category in their online application, should now login with their username and password and correct their category as Extremely Backward Class by 27 September 2024. Along with this, it is also necessary to upload a creamy layer free certificate. If the category correction and creamy layer free certificate are not uploaded, the claim of reservation in any category of Tanti-Tatva caste will not be valid.

The Supreme Court has ordered the removal of Tanti-Tatva caste from the Scheduled Caste and its inclusion in the Extremely Backward Classes.
