CSL Recruitment 2024: Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has invited applications for a total of 20 posts including Engineer, Assistant Administrative Officer, Assistant Fire Officer and Accountant. Age Limit: According to the notification, the age of the candidate should not be more than 45 years as on 30 October 2024. Apart from this, as per government rules, additional relaxation in age limit will be given to disabled people and ex-servicemen. However, even after relaxation in age limit, the maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 50 years.

Selection Process:

Examinations will be conducted in two phases for applications for vacant posts in CSL. There will be online test in Phase 1. In which objective type questions of 40 marks will be asked and descriptive type questions of 40 marks will be asked. At the same time, candidates will have to give a power point presentation of work experience in Phase 2 exam. For which 20 marks have been allotted.

Exam Pattern: The objective type online test will be in two parts: Part-A (General) and Part-B (Discipline). For which candidates will be given 45 minutes time. Part-A will have questions from General Knowledge, General English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Descriptive type questions will be asked in Part-B. For which a total of 90 minutes have been allotted. In the objective and descriptive test, people from unreserved category will have to score a total of 50 percent marks. People from OBC category will have to score 45 percent marks. People belonging to S/ST category will have to score 40% marks to pass the exam. Apart from this, persons with disabilities will also have to obtain 40% marks to pass the examination. After this, the qualified candidates will be shortlisted for certificate verification. After completion of this process, candidates will be able to appear in Phase-2 exam.
