CGPSC SI, Subedar Vacancy: Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has released the advertisement for recruitment to 341 posts of Sub Inspector, Subedar and Platoon Commander. Eligible candidates will be able to apply online from October 23 by visiting psc.cg.gov.in. The last date for application has been fixed as 21 November 2024. Correction in the application form can be done free of cost between 22 November to 24 November 2024. Correction can be done by paying Rs 500 between November 25 and November 27. The maximum number of 278 posts in the vacancy are of Sub Inspector. There are 19 posts of Subedar, 11 posts of Sub Inspector Special Branch, 14 posts of Platoon Commander, 4 posts of Sub Inspector Finger Print, 1 post of Sub Inspector Document in Question, 5 posts of Sub Inspector Computer and 9 posts of Sub Inspector Cyber Crime. The date of preliminary examination will be released separately later. It will be organized in all 33 districts.
5 years relaxation in age limit
Age Limit – 21 years to 28 years. Age will be calculated from January 1, 2024. This time the provision of relaxation in age limit of 5 years has been included. Overaged candidates will get this benefit. Earlier in the year 2021, recruitment was done for 975 posts of Subedar and Sub Inspector. Apart from this, OBC, SC and ST categories will get relaxation of five years in the maximum age limit.
Ability
Subedar, Sub Inspector, Sub Inspector Special Branch and Platoon Commander – Graduation from any discipline.
Sub Inspector Finger Print and Sub Inspector Documents in question – Graduation with Maths, Physics, Chemistry.
Sub Inspector Computer and Sub Inspector Cyber Crime – BCA or B.Sc. Computer or equivalent.
height and stature
The required height for men is 168 cm and for women it is 153 cm. The requirement is that the chest should be 81 cm without expansion and 86 cm after expansion. There are no chest related terms for women.
Selection Process – Physical Measurement Value, Preliminary Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Main Examination, Interview.
The physical test will consist of long jump, high jump, shot put, 100 meter run and 1500 meter run.
