RRB NTPC Vacancy 2024: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the application process for Under Graduate Level NTPC Recruitment 2024. The application link on www.rrbapply.gov.in has been opened today from 21st September 2024. 12th pass youth can apply for this recruitment. The last date to apply is 20 October 2024. Under the RRB NTPC Under Graduate Level Examination, there will be recruitment for 2022 posts of Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, 72 posts of Train Clerk, 361 posts of Accounts Clerk cum Typist and 990 posts of Junior Clerk cum Typist. The total number of vacancies is 3445. Let us tell you that the process of application for recruitment to 8113 posts for graduate level in NTPC i.e. Non Technical Popular Category is already going on. It has also been said in the notification that due to Corona epidemic, the candidates will get relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit. Age will be calculated from 01 January 2025.

10 special things

1. Age Limit for all posts-

This time all categories have been given a relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit. The age limit has been kept at 18-33 years. SC and ST categories will have a relaxation of five years and OBC will have a relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit. That is, a candidate of unreserved and EWS category should not have been born before 02 January 1992, a candidate of OBC category should not have been born before 02 January 1989 and a candidate of SC ST category should not have been born before 02 January 1987.

2. Post and Qualification

Commercial cum Ticket Clerk – 2022 Posts

Eligibility- 12th pass with at least 50% marks. For SC, ST and Divyang, only 12th pass is necessary. The condition of 50% marks will not apply.

Trains Clerk – 72 Posts

Eligibility- 12th pass with at least 50% marks. For SC, ST and Divyang, only 12th pass is necessary. The condition of 50% marks will not apply.

Accounts Clerk cum Typist – 361 Posts

Qualification- 12th pass with at least 50% marks. And English typing of 30 words per minute or Hindi typing of 25 words per minute on computer. For SC, ST and Divyang, only 12th pass is necessary. The condition of 50% marks will not apply.

Junior Clerk cum Typist – 990 Posts

Qualification- 12th pass with at least 50% marks. And English typing of 30 words per minute or Hindi typing of 25 words per minute on computer. For SC, ST and Divyang, only 12th pass is necessary. The condition of 50% marks will not apply.

3. Selection Process:

– There will be CBT in 2 stages (CBT 1 & CBT 2) for all the posts.

– After this, there will also be typing skill test for Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist.

4. – There will be negative marking of one-third marks for each wrong answer in CBT.

5. -RRB wise shortlisting of candidates for 2nd stage CBT will be done at the rate of 15 times the number of vacancies.

6- First stage CBT will be common for all the posts. There will be 100 questions in the 90 minutes CBT. 40 questions will be of General Awareness, 30 of Maths, 30 of General Intelligence and Reasoning.

7- Candidates will be shortlisted for 2nd Stage CBT on the basis of normalized score of 1st Stage CBT.

8. – Second stage CBT will also be common for all posts.

9. The second stage CBT will have a paper of 90 minutes. There will be 120 questions in the CBT. 50 questions will be of General Awareness, 35 of Maths, 35 questions of General Intelligence and Reasoning.

10. Application fee – Rs 500. Rs 400 will be refunded to those who take part in CBT 1 exam. SC, ST, Women, EBC, Divyang – Rs 250. Whoever takes part in CBT 1 exam, the entire Rs 250 will be refunded.
