Railway Recruitment 2024: Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Region has invited applications for 4096 Apprentice posts in various trades. These appointments will be made for various trades including Carpenter, Fitter, Welder, Painter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Turner, Trimmer, Machinist, Wireman etc. The application process will begin today, 16 August 2024 and the last date is 16 September 2024. There will be no written exam and interview for this recruitment of Apprentice. This recruitment will be based on the marks obtained in 10th class and ITI course. Ability :
Passed 10th examination with at least 50% marks. ITI certificate in trade related to the post.
– Must be at least 15 years of age and at least 24 years of age. Age will be calculated as on 16 September 2024.
– The maximum age limit will be relaxed by three years for OBC category candidates, five years for SC/ST category candidates and ten years for persons with disabilities.
Selection
Merit will be made on the basis of 10th and ITI marks. Both the classes will be given 50-50 percent weightage.
Application fee – Rs 100. SC, ST and female candidates do not have to pay any fee.
The Employer shall not be bound to offer any employment to any Trainee after the completion of training nor shall the Trainee be bound to accept any employment offered by the Employer.
