CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Round Counselling: Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has started registration for CSAB Supernumerary Round Counselling from today, August 16. Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website csab.nic.in. The last date for registration and choice filling for CSAB Supernumerary Round is August 19. CCT allotment will be done on August 20, 2024. Document uploading, seat acceptance, fee payment, online verification will be done between August 20 and August 22. Those who confirm the seat will have to report to the allotted institute between August 24 and August 27.
The CSAB Supernumerary Round counselling involves admission to supernumerary seats in three NITs – NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur and SVNIT Surat – based on JEE Main ranks. This round is exclusively for candidates from the Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The CSAB-Supernumerary Round begins after the completion of the CSAB-Special Round.
“Candidates are advised to lock their choices after finalisation of choice list; else it will be automatically locked and considered for seat allotment after the choice locking schedule. Candidates can take a print copy of the locked choices only after the choices are locked by the candidate or the system,” the CSAB notice said.
