Railway Recruitment Board has given another chance to those candidates of Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment (RRB ALP Recruitment) to make corrections in their applications who have made a mistake in uploading passport size photo and signature photo in their online application form. RRB has informed these candidates who have not uploaded photographs as per the rules through email and SMS, so that their applications are not rejected. These candidates will be able to make corrections in their application forms between May 27 and May 31. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will recruit 5696 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot. Applications for this recruitment were taken in February 2024.

Railway Recruitment Board said in the notice, 'Facility to upload appropriate passport size photograph and signature.
1. CEN:01/2024 Photo/signature of some candidates in ALP Recruitment is not as per the standard.
2. Now to avoid rejection of applications, these candidates are given an opportunity. Upload recent passport size photograph and signature as per instructions.
3. E-mail/SMS will be sent to the registered e-mail ID/mobile of all such candidates.
4. Candidates have to log in to the website (www.rrbapply.gov.in) with their user credentials. A link to upload photograph and signature will be available after login to the RRB website.
5. The link will be available from 27.05.2024 00:00 hrs to 31.05.2024 23:59 hrs.
6. If any candidate fails to upload correct photograph and signature by 31.05.2024 his/her application will be automatically rejected.

Understand how selection will be done in RRB ALP Recruitment
Selection process and exam pattern
The selection process will have these stages – 1. First Stage CBT (Computer Based Test), 2. Second Stage CBT, 3. Computer Based Aptitude Test and 4. Document Verification.

Two stage examination (First Stage CBT and Second Stage CBT) will be common for recruitment to ALP posts. Only the candidates successful in First Stage CBT will be called for Second Stage CBT. After passing the second stage CBT, you will have to give Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT).

negative marking
There will be negative marking in both first and second stage. One third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be no negative marking in the Computer Based Aptitude Test.

How will the first stage CBT be?
The first stage computer based written examination will be of 1 hour in which 75 questions will be asked. To qualify the exam, unreserved category candidates will have to score 40%, OBC candidates will have to score 30%, SC will have to score 30% and ST candidates will have to score 25%. You will have to score minimum marks in this test otherwise you will be stopped here and cannot participate in the further process. In this you will be asked questions related to Maths, Reasoning, General Science, GK/Current Affairs.

How will be the second stage CBT?
Candidates who qualify the first stage examination will be able to appear in the second stage. This exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes. The paper will be divided into two parts. Part A and Part B.

Part A
You will get 90 minutes time for Part A and it will have 100 questions. To qualify this, unreserved category candidates will have to score 40%, OBC candidates will have to score 30%, SC will have to score 30% and ST candidates will have to score 25%. In Part A, questions related to Maths, Reasoning, General Science, GK/Current Affairs will be asked.

Part B
There will be 1 hour time to write Part B. The total number of questions in this will be 75. To qualify Part B, candidates of all categories must score 35% marks. Questions from trade syllabus will come in Part B.

third step
Candidates who perform in Part A of the second stage and qualify in Part B will be called. In this phase, candidates of all categories will have to score at least 42 marks, there will be no relaxation of any kind.

The last step will be document verification.
