How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected for this post through written examination and interview. The tentative date of the written examination is said to be August 4, while the candidates who are successful in the written examination will be interviewed. This will be the pattern of written examination
The written examination consists of two papers of 200 marks. The first paper is of 100 marks and is divided into two parts – Section A will have 50 compulsory questions for one mark each. In this section, 25 questions will be from Tamil language, and 25 will be from General Knowledge, especially Current Affairs. One hour will be given to solve Section A.
The second section of the first paper will be conducted for two hours. In which candidates will attempt five out of eight descriptive type questions from the chosen subjects. Each question will be of 10 marks. Let us tell you, there will be two sections in the second paper also. Section A consists of 50 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each, which have to be answered in one hour. The second section will have eight questions of 10 marks each. Candidates have to answer any five within two hours. Let us tell you, the interview round will be conducted for 30 marks.
