SAT 2024 Exam: The College Board has announced that the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) for the August session will be held on August 24, 2024. The registration process for this exam is still open. This exam will allow students wishing to pursue undergraduate courses in the United States and Canada to secure their place.
Let us tell you, the registration process for SAT will close on August 9. The opportunity to make changes in the application form, cancel regularly or opt for late registration has been extended till August 13. The registration fee for SAT is US $ 68 (about Rs 5,692) with a regional fee of US $ 43 (about Rs 3,600).
Candidates registering late will have to pay USD 34 (roughly Rs. 2,800), while those changing exam centres and cancelling registration will have to pay USD 29 (Rs. 2,400).
Know about the exam
After the August 24 exam, the College Board has also announced the future exam dates. The next SAT 2024 will be on October 5, followed by November 2 and December 7 this year. After that, the exams will be held on March 8, May 3 and June 7, 2025. It is worth noting that the registration for all the dates has started and students can appear for the SAT as per their merit and eligibility. The SAT 2024 exam will include math, reading, writing and language sections. Scores for the SAT range from 400 to 1600. Above average scores are considered acceptable for admission to many colleges and universities.
