SBI SO Recruitment 2024: The country's largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has invited applications for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers for various SBI branches across the country. A total of 1511 posts of Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager will be recruited. Online applications will start today, September 14, at sbi.co.in or bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings and the forms can be filled till October 4, 2024. Keep in mind that candidates are not allowed to apply for more than one post.
The details of the posts are as follows-
1. Deputy Manager (Systems) – Project Management & Delivery – 187 posts
2. Deputy Manager (Systems) – IFR Support & Cloud Operation – 412 Posts
3. Deputy Manager (Systems) – 80
4. Deputy Manager (System) IT – Architect – 27
5. Deputy Manager (System) Information Security – 7
6. Assistant Manager (System) – 784
7. Backlog Vacancy- Assistant Manager – (Systems) – 14
Age Limit
For the above mentioned posts, the age limit for the first five types of posts is 25-35 years. Whereas for the sixth and seventh types of posts, the age limit is 21-30 years.
Selection
Assistant Manager (Systems) – Online written test and interaction.
For all other posts – Shortlisting-cum-Tiered Interaction
Probation
The selected candidates will first be placed on a probation period of one year. During this period, their performance will be evaluated. If their service is found to be as per the bank's standards, their service will be confirmed under the Specialist Cadre.
They will have to fill the bond
Assistant Manager (System) Grade – There will be the post of JMGS-I. Candidates selected for this post will have to fill a bond of Rs 2 lakh at the time of joining. Under this, it will be mandatory to work in the bank for at least five years.
Application Fees
The application fee is Rs 750/- for General/EWS/OBC. While there is no fee for SC/ST/PWBD.
