School Holidays organizations will remain closed in these places today


The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rain in Chennai on Tuesday. In view of this warning, holiday has been declared in all schools of Chennai. IMD told that Chennai, ThiruvalluvarKancheepuram, Chengalpattu and Cuddalore districts may receive 6 to 12 cm of rain in the next 24 hours.

IMD has issued a yellow alert for 12 districts on 12 November, predicted heavy rains in 17 districts on 13, 27 districts on 14 and heavy rain in 25 districts on 15. According to this alert, there is a possibility of life being affected due to rain in Chennai and surrounding areas. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the low pressure area formed in the south-west Bay of Bengal, clouds are being drawn towards Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. Its effect may increase in the next two days, due to which there may be rain in these districts.

Holiday in Uttarakhand also

Whereas, if we talk about the hilly state of Uttarakhand, Igas festival is celebrated here 11 days after Diwali. In view of this, all government schools and offices will remain closed today, 12th November. Also, RBI has announced holiday in the banks of Uttarakhand.

Due to the elections of South Assembly constituency in Raipur, a public holiday has been declared on 13th November. On this day, there will be a holiday in all private and government schools as well as banks. In view of the elections, the schools where polling stations have been set up are also closed on 12 November.
