BMC has instructed that schools and teachers should inform the parents of the children about the closure of the school and cooperate with them.
In Dehradun, Uttarakhand, all schools have been ordered to remain closed due to the possibility of heavy rains and floods. Along with this, parents have been advised not to let their children go out of the house and not to travel unless necessary.
In Pune, Maharashtra, all schools and colleges have been ordered to remain closed due to the possibility of heavy rains. People of Pune have been advised not to go out of their homes. All schools in Pune are advising parents to take care of the safety of their children.

Residents of all these places have been advised to keep checking the weather report from time to time and follow the guidelines issued by the local administration.
Keeping in mind the Kavad Yatra in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh, it has been decided to keep all government and private schools closed from July 26 to August 2, 2024. Hapur District Magistrate Prerna Sharma has said that this decision has been taken so that no one has to face any trouble during the journey.
