Educational qualification
All those candidates who are going to apply for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) must have Master's Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University or six years Integrated Post Graduate from a Regional College of Education recognized by NCERT. Must have done Masters course. Along with this, candidates will be asked to have BE.d degree while applying for some subjects.
The official notification reads, B.Ed qualification is not mandatory for the post of PGT in Commerce, Education, Geology, Home Science, Logic and Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, IRPM, Telugu and Urdu subjects. Important dates and how you can apply
Candidates can submit their applications for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) through the official website – ssbodish.ac.in. The application window will start from March 18 (1 pm) and will remain active till April 18 (11.45 pm), 2024. Candidates are advised to complete the recruitment related process before the last date. So that there is no problem of any kind while filling the form later.
Selection will be like this
For the post of PGT, candidates will have to appear in the written examination. On the basis of their performance they will be shortlisted. The exam will be conducted for total 200 marks. In which multiple choice questions of 150 marks and career assessment questions of 50 marks will be asked.
