SSC JE Exam 2024: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit card for the online examination of Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment. The admit card link has been released on the website of SSC Central Region Prayagraj. Through this link, candidates can know the city and shift of the examination center. This link will be updated four days before the exam.

The exam will be conducted in three shifts on June 5, 6 and 7. The first shift will be from 9 am to 11 am, the second shift will be from 1 pm to 3 pm and the third shift will be from 5 pm to 7 pm. 127171 candidates are registered for the exam at 56 centers in UP and Bihar. 86,639 candidates will give the exam at 38 centers in UP and 40,532 candidates will give the exam at 18 centers in Bihar. Talking about Prayagraj, 11,592 candidates are registered for the exam at six centers.

There will be recruitment for 968 posts of Junior Engineer
SSC had issued an advertisement for recruitment to 968 posts of Junior Engineer in Central Government departments and ministries on 28 March 2024. The highest number of posts are 438 of Civil JE in Border Road Organization. At the same time, there are 217 posts of Civil JE and 121 posts of Electrical JE in Central Public Works Department. Apart from this, there are posts of other departments. 4,83,557 candidates had applied from all over the country.

There will be two exams for the post of JE
There will be two exams for the JE post. Successful candidates of this exam will appear in the second exam. According to SSC Central Region Director Rahul Sachan, the exam will be conducted under CCTV surveillance. The name of the exam centre will be announced four days in advance so that no one can hack the exam.
