SSC GD Result 2024: SSC GD Constable Result is going to be released. The youth who appeared in the SSC GD recruitment exam will be able to check their result by visiting the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in. 46617 posts are to be recruited through SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam. Recruitment will be done for 12076 posts of BSF, 13632 of CISF, 9410 of CRPF, 1926 of SSB, 6287 of ITBP, 2990 of Assam Rifles and 296 vacancies of SSF. There are total 41467 posts for men and 5150 for women. 17365 posts are unreserved for men and 2231 posts are unreserved for women. Among men, 6032 posts are reserved for SC, 4318 ST, 8712 OBC, 5040 posts are reserved for EWS category. While among women, 764 posts are reserved for SC, 476 for ST, 1087 for OBC, 592 for EWS. Earlier, the answer key of SSC GD constable recruitment exam has been released. Time was given from 3 April to 10 April to register objections on the answer key. The answer key was to be released a few days ago but SSC had conducted the exam again on 30 March at some examination centers. Due to this, there was a delay in releasing the answer key.
Before March 30, the SSC GD Constable Exam 2024 Tier-1 exam was conducted on February 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and February 1, 5, 7. 46,47,646 candidates from across the country had applied for the recruitment of 26,146 posts of SSC GD Constable. 15,20,063 candidates were to appear in the SSC GD Constable exam in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. 11,18,823 candidates were registered in UP and 4,01,240 in Bihar.
Candidates who are successful in the written exam will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST). Those who pass the PET PST will be called for medical and document verification. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written exam. PET PST will be merely qualifying. Only passing the PET PST will be mandatory.
How much running will be required in the physical efficiency test
Male candidates will have to run 5 km in 24 minutes. Female candidates will also have to run 1.6 km in 8 and a half minutes.
