SSC JE Vacancy 2024: Staff Selection Commission has issued an important notice regarding Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) Recruitment 2024. SSC has said in the latest notice that candidates wishing to apply for JE recruitment should not wait for the last date 18 April 2024, apply first. In the last days, technical problems occur due to heavy load on the server. In the last days, traffic on the website increases due to which there are difficulties in applying. SSC has made it clear that the last date of application will not be extended. If any interested candidate has still not applied then he can apply by visiting the official website ssc.nic.in. Recruitment has been done for 966 posts of Junior Engineer in various ministries, offices and departments of the Central Government. Exam fees will have to be deposited by 19 April 2024. Corrections in the application form can be made on 22 April and 23 April 2024. Paper-1 of JE Recruitment will be held in CBT mode from June 4 to June 6, 2024.

Educational qualification
B.Tech degree or three year diploma in engineering subject related to the post. For some posts, two years' experience has been sought. See notification for detailed eligibility information.

relaxation in age limit
Maximum age limit is 30 years. SC, ST category will be given five years relaxation in the maximum age limit and OBC category will be given three years relaxation.

selection
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Paper-1 and Paper-2. Candidates successful in Paper-1 will be called for Paper-2. Both the papers will have objective type questions. There will be one-third negative marking for each wrong answer in both.

pay scale – Group B Non Gazetted Posts, Level – 6 (35400- 112400/-)

application fee
General and OBC – Rs 100
SC, ST, disabled category and women of all categories will be exempted from fees.
