Today is the last date to apply for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havildar (Central Bureau of Indirect Taxes and Customs and Central Bureau of Narcotics) Exam 2024 by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Online applications will be accepted for MTS 2024 till July 31. This year there are 4887 vacancies for MTS and 3439 for Havildar. If you are preparing, then let us tell you that there is a plan to conduct a computer based examination in November or December. Lakhs of candidates apply for this exam. Therefore, you have to do your preparation looking at the exam pattern. Talking about last year, 26,09,777 contenders from all over the country were in the fray for 1773 posts of MTS 2023. First of all, let us tell you about this exam. For this, computer based examination will be conducted in 2 sessions. Session-I and Session-II and it will be necessary to attempt both. If a candidate does not appear for any one of the two sessions, he is not eligible for it. He will have to qualify both the sessions.
Let's first talk about session 1. In session 1, the number of questions on numerical and mathematical ability will be 20 and you will get 60 marks for it. The number of questions for reasoning ability and problem-solving will also be 20 and you will get 60 marks for it. You will have to complete the exam in a total of 45 minutes for both. There will be a total of 40 questions and you will have to solve them in 45 minutes. The total marks are 120.
1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in Session-2 while there will be no negative marking in Session-1. For this, a single tier Computer Based Test (CBT) will conduct the exam in 15 languages.
