Odisha School New Uniform: Odisha government has changed the school uniform of classes IX and X of all government and cooperative schools in the state.
Odisha new school uniform for class 9th and 10th: The Odisha government has made changes in the school uniform of the students of class 9th and 10th studying in all the government and cooperative schools of the state. According to the new order, the color of the new school uniform will be light brown, chocolate and clay baked yellow.
At present the color of the school uniform of classes IX and X is green and white. In a letter to the Director of Secondary Education, the Department of School and Mass Education directed that secondary school students will now have new school uniforms.
The letter issued by the department said that the new Odisha Dress Code will be made available especially in those schools where at present the student school uniform, as per the established color scheme, has not yet been stitched or distributed.
Boys will wear checkered clay bake yellow shirt and red rust pants while girls will wear red rust sleeveless tunics over clay bake yellow full-sleeve shirt and red rust churidar. Officials said the pockets in school uniforms of boys and girls will be chocolate coloured. Two pairs of clothes, shoes and socks will also be provided to the students. School uniform is being provided under 'Mukhyamantri Chhatra Chhatra Yojana'.
