Summer Vacation 2024 Dates Announced: In this season of board exams, the dates of summer holidays are also being announced at many places. In this sequence, first of all MP i.e. Madhya Pradesh has announced the date of summer holidays. The new session has not even started in many schools, but the State Education Board has made it clear as to how long the schools will remain closed. There will be holidays in May
According to the State Education Board, summer vacations in MP schools will start from May 1. Schools will remain closed from 1 May to 15 June 2024. These dates will apply equally to all schools. This means that summer vacations in all private and government schools will be held on these dates.
What is the schedule for teachers?
The timing of school closure is different for teachers and students. While schools will remain closed for children till June 15, teachers' holidays will continue till May 31. Schools will remain closed for teachers from May 1 to May 31, 2024. Teachers get fewer holidays while students get more days.

Along with summer holidays, the holiday list of some big festivals has also been released in MP. According to this, the Dussehra holiday here will be between 11 to 13 October 2024. Diwali holidays will be from 29th October to 3rd November and winter holidays will be from 31st December 2024 to 5th January 2025.
