The entrance exam for admissions to Daksh School of Nursing and Hospital is scheduled to take place on June 30.
Bihar students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) Programme at a famous medical college will now have to undergo a written examination first. Earlier, only the government institutes conducted an entrance exam for the B.Sc Nursing course. Now, the same criteria have been implemented by a Siwan private institute as well only after which the candidate will be able to get the admission.
Daksh School of Nursing and Hospital, Bihar has implemented the rule for the upcoming academic session. The last date to apply for the BSc Nursing Programme at Daksh College, Siwan is June 26, while the entrance exam is scheduled to take place on June 30.
The college administration will take the entrance exam through Daksh JET. Applications for the entrance examination can be made online or offline. Dr. Jitesh Kumar, Director of Daksh B.Sc. Nursing College said that such arrangements have been made to provide quality education in nursing. Students will benefit from this in many ways.
He further said that the candidates can apply for the entrance exam online or offline by coming to the City Office Popular Nursing Home, East of Gandhi Maidan, Siwan. “The last date for application is 26th June and the exam will be conducted on 30th June. Also, those securing first, second and third positions will be given 20, 15 and 10 percent discount in tuition fees by the college administration,” he added.
Exam Pattern
The entrance exam will comprise 100 questions from Biology, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge and English subjects. For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 1 mark. The exam will have a duration of 90 minutes.
Recently, the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) announced the AIIMS BSc Nursing Result 2024 for the upcoming August session on their official website at aiimsexam.ac.in. The examination was conducted for all the candidates who are interested in pursuing their bachelor's in nursing on June 8 and 9.
All the candidates who have passed the entrance exam are provisionally eligible for the mock round or the first round of seat allocation.
To qualify for the AIIMS BSc Nursing Course, candidates are required to have passed their Class 12 exams with at least 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry and biology.
