The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination results were shared by the board in early May this year with 94.56% of the 7,19,196 applicants passing the test. Students were required to secure at least 35% marks in each subject in order to pass the exam. Those who fell short of this criteria then became eligible to take the supplementary exams.

Candidates are required to double check their results and flag any discrepancies to the school authorities or the DGE Tamil Nadu immediately. It is also recommended that they hold on to their provisional marksheets until the final passing certificate is presented at their schools.
