TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2024 : Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has started the registration process for Group-2 Combined Civil Services Examination 2024 for more than 2000 posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of TNPSC tnpsc.gov.in. Let us tell you that the application process has started from 20 June 2024. At the same time, the last date for filling the application form has been fixed as 19 July 2024. Candidates will also be given the last chance to pay the fee on the same day.
While filling the form, candidates must keep in mind the minimum age limit as on 1 June 2024. According to the notification issued, candidates will be given time from 12:01 pm on July 24 to 11:59 PM on July 26 to make corrections in the application form.
When will the exam be held?
According to the notification, the preliminary examination of TAPSC Group-2 will be conducted on 14 September 2024. The examination will be held in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. A total of 2,337 vacant posts including Assistant Inspector, Deputy Commercial Tax Officer, Special Assistant, Audit Inspector, Assistant Section Officer are to be filled through this vacancy.

-Interested candidates can first visit the official website of tnpsc.gov.in to apply for Group-2 Preliminary Exam 2024.
-Click on the link of TNPSC Group-2.
-Complete the registration process by entering the required credentials and details.
-After uploading all the documents, read the details of the form carefully.
-Now proceed for fee payment. For registration, you will have to pay Rs 150 as online fee.
-Candidates Aadhaar number must be connected with mobile number.
-After paying the fee, click on the submit button. After this, download the application form and keep a printout of it with you.
Exam Pattern : A total of 200 questions will be asked in the preliminary exam of TNPSC and candidates will be given 3 hours. The question paper will be in three parts. The first part will have 75 questions of General Studies. The second part will have 25 questions of Aptitude and Mental Ability. Whereas, in the third part 100 questions will be asked in English or Tamil language. The exam will be of total 300 marks. To pass in which candidates will have to score minimum 90 marks.
