Today 20th October 2024 is the last date of application for RRB Graduate Level NTPC Recruitment. Candidates willing to apply can visit www.rrbapply.gov.in and apply till 11:29 pm. After the closure of the application window, fees can be deposited till 21st-22nd October. Corrections in the form can be made between 23 October and 30 November. Keep in mind that no changes will be possible in the Create an Account form and the RRB option selected. Only existing PWBD candidates who have filled their form will be able to change their RRB and post category preference till 20th October 2024. For this they will not have to pay amendment fee.
Earlier, the last date of application for 8113 vacancies under Non Technical Popular Category (NTPC) Graduate Level Recruitment was fixed as 13 October 2024 but it was extended by a week to 20 October. Railway Recruitment Board had revised the vacancy table after including vacancies for candidates belonging to Divyang category (PwBD – Persons with Benchmark Disabilities). After this, Railways had decided to extend the last date of application for all categories.
The details of 5 types of posts of NTPC graduate level are as follows
Goods Train Manager- 3144 Posts
Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor – 1736 Posts
Senior Clerk cum Typist – 732 Posts
Junior Account Assistant cum Typist – 1507 Posts
Station Master- 994 Posts
Selection Process:
– There will be CBT in 2 stages (CBT 1 and CBT 2) for all posts.
After this, there will be Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) / Typing Skill Test as per the post.
There will be a computer based aptitude test for the post of Station Master.
There will be typing skill test for Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Account Assistant cum Typist.
There will be a two-stage CBT for Goods Train Manager and Senior Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor. After that there will be document verification and medical test.
– There will be negative marking of one-third marks for each wrong answer in CBT.
– RRB wise shortlisting of candidates for second stage CBT will be done at the rate of 15 times the vacancy.
– First Stage CBT will be common for all posts. There will be 100 questions in 90 minutes CBT. 40 questions will be from General Awareness, 30 from Maths, 30 from General Intelligence and Reasoning.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Second Stage CBT based on the normalized score of First Stage CBT.
Second Stage CBT will also be common for all posts. There will be a 90 minute paper in the second stage CBT. There will be 120 questions in CBT. There will be 50 questions from General Awareness, 35 from Maths and 35 questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning.
