NTA Exam Calendar 2024: After canceling the UGC NET exam due to paper leak, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the new date of the exam. UGC NET exam will now be conducted from 21 August to 4 September 2024. UGC NET exam will now be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode instead of pen paper (offline) mode. According to the new exam calendar released by NTA, the Joint CSIR UGC exam will now be held in CBT mode from 25 July to 27 July 2024. NCET exam will be held in CBT mode on 10 July. NTA has said that the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2024 will be conducted on the pre-scheduled date of July 6.
NTA will conduct UGC NET exam in 83 subjects. Let us tell you that the UGC NET exam held on June 18 was canceled after the paper was leaked. The investigation of the case was handed over to the CBI. More than 11.21 lakh candidates are registered for the exam. The Ministry of Education had taken the decision to cancel the UGC NET exam amid the controversy over alleged irregularities in the medical entrance exam NEET.
UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year for Junior Professor Fellowship and Assistant Professor in universities and other higher education institutions across the country. From this time UGC NET score will also be accepted as entrance for PhD.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET exam is an examination to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor and eligibility for admission to PhD in Science Courses.
