Union Budget 2024: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the general budget for the financial year 2024-25. The Finance Minister presented the budget of the Government of India at 11 am and gave many gifts to the public from her budget box. The youth have got many gifts in this budget. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made a big announcement for the youth in Budget 2024. She said that 1 crore youth will be given training in the top companies of the country, for which they will be given a monthly allowance of Rs 5000 every month. This scheme will help prepare the youth for employment.
The Finance Minister has announced a skill-based scheme for new employment under the Prime Minister's package. Under this scheme, first-time job seekers will get one month's salary. The salary limit will be Rs 1 lakh per month and it will be given in three installments through DBT. One month's salary will be given up to Rs 15,000 in three installments through DBT.
The Finance Minister has said that a scheme related to employment of employees will be launched to promote employment generation in the production sector. Under this scheme, employees and employers will be given incentives regarding EPFO contribution during the first four years of employment. This scheme will benefit 30 lakh youth and it will cover additional employment in all sectors. The government will reimburse the employers the EPFO contribution of up to three thousand rupees per month for two years for every additional employee. Its aim is to encourage additional employment of 50 lakh people.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the government will work on building working women's hostels to increase the participation of women as human resources. The minister said we will facilitate greater participation of women in the workforce by setting up hostels and creches for working women in collaboration with industries.
