UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2024: The evaluation of high school and intermediate answer sheets of UP Board will start from Saturday in 260 schools of the state. Instructions have been given to complete the evaluation of more than three crore copies of a total of 5525308 candidates, 2947311 and 2577997 respectively, registered in High School and Intermediate respectively by March 31. In such a situation, it is expected that the UP Board High School and Intermediate results are also set to be declared in April 2024 itself.
A total of 1,47,097 examiners have been appointed, 94,802 for evaluation of 1.76 crore answer sheets of high school and 52,295 for evaluation of 1.25 crore copies of Intermediate. UP Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla held a detailed discussion regarding evaluation with all the district school inspectors through Google Meet on Friday and directed that the evaluation work should be done with full alertness and promptness.
The evaluation will also be monitored from the command and control rooms of the board headquarters and regional offices. There will be arrangements of static magistrate and police at all the evaluation centres. Funds have been allocated for payment of remuneration bills for previous years.

The evaluation of UP Board High School and Inter examination will be done according to the step marking process. For example, if a question is solved correctly, 1+1+1=3 marks are given and if the candidates have written the first two parts correctly and one part wrong, then they will be given 2 = 1 + 1 marks. Instead, if the third part is written wrong, he will be given zero marks in this question. If the solution is correct but the unit is not written or is written incorrectly, partial marks will be deducted. If the solution to a mathematics question is correct and the answer is wrong, the student will not be given zero marks. Also, one mark will be awarded for neat and beautiful handwriting but it will be kept in mind that the total score of the candidate should not exceed the full marks of the question paper.
Let us tell you that UP Board High School and Intermediate examinations were conducted from 22 February 2024 to 9 March 2023. This year, about 58 lakh students had registered themselves in these examinations, out of which about 54 lakh students have participated in the board examinations.
