NEET UG Result 2024 Controversy: After the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) exam, while on one hand there is a demand to cancel the result, on the other hand Ayushi Patel, a resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is in the news regarding her NEET UG result.
Ayushi Patel has claimed through a video on the social media platform that her NEET UG result was not released and she received the photo of the torn OMR from NTA through mail. However, posting on this on X, NTA said that no torn OMR was sent to Ayushi Patel through the official NTA ID. At the same time, let us tell you that now Ayushi's result has been uploaded on the website, but it is being told that the result has been released from the wrong application number, in which the student has got 335 marks out of 720. Let us know what is the whole matter and what happened to Ayushi's result?
Ayushi Patel had claimed through a video on a social media platform that her NEET UG result was not released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 4. After which she received an email from NTA, stating that her result was not generated due to torn and damaged Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet. Then she mailed NTA to send the photo of the OMR sheet. After 24 hours, she was sent a photo of the OMR sheet, which was torn. After which, on checking the OMR sheet given by the agency, Ayushi alleged that the barcode was deliberately torn, all her answers were clearly marked on the sheet.
She claimed, matching with the final answer key of NEET UG, the NEET score comes out to be 715, but my result was not generated. While on one hand Aayushi is claiming to have scored 715 out of 720 marks, on the other hand, as per the generated result, Aayushi has scored only 335 marks, which is contrary to her claims.
According to an ABP report, Aayushi said, “My NEET UG result is available on the website under the application number '240411340741', but the admit card has my original application number '240411840741'. I can't believe that this is my marksheet. If this is my marksheet, it should be on my application number.”
Ayushi Patel was one of the lakhs of students who appeared for NEET UG this year. Ayushi alleges that the NTA did not release her result saying that her OMR sheet was torn. When she calculated her score from the final answer key, she found that she had answered 715 out of 720 questions correctly. “The NTA shocked me and my entire family. The OMR sheet was torn, but the bubbles I had filled were visible,” Ayushi said.
NTA said, no mail was sent
NTA refuted Aayushi's claims saying that no torn OMR answer sheet was sent to the student through the official NTA ID. Moreover, they confirmed that the OMR sheet is correct and the marks are accurate as per the official records. However, after NTA's response, Aayushi has questioned how her result is available on an application number different from the one mentioned on her admit card?
