UP Police Bharti: The Yogi government has announced to give reservation to Agniveers in UP Police recruitment. After this big announcement by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Kargil Vijay Diwas, many candidates of UP Police Constable 60,244 recruitment are confused about whether this new rule will be applicable to the current recruitment. They fear that if the provision of giving weightage to Agniveers in UP Police Constable 60,244 recruitment is implemented, then their chances of getting a job will be reduced. But these candidates of UP Police Constable Recruitment need not panic because this rule will not be applicable in this year. Actually, the first batch of Agniveers has joined the army in August 2023 after training. In this sense, their four years will be completed in 2027. Out of these Agniveers, 75 percent of the soldiers will be sent home after 4 years. The remaining 25 percent of Agniveers will be appointed as permanent soldiers. These 75 percent Agniveer soldiers will be able to take advantage of the recruitments that will come out in the year 2027.
Apart from Uttar Pradesh, the governments of Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Gujarat have also announced to give quota in jobs to former Agniveers. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that former Agniveers will be given reservation in state government jobs. The government will bring a law for this. On the other hand, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced that the state government will give reservation to former Agniveers in jobs including police constable, forest guard and others. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the state government will give preference to former Agniveers in other government recruitments including police recruitment. But it is worth noting that Agniveers of the first batch will be able to apply for these recruitments in the year 2027.
