The UP Police Recruitment Exam is now being conducted in all 75 districts

The Uttar Pradesh Police Department has exciting news for young job seekers as it conducts recruitment examinations for 60244 UP Police posts through the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. To become a constable in the UP Police, candidates must first pass a written examination scheduled for February 17 and 18. Admit cards for this exam will be issued soon. Following the written test, candidates must also pass a physical test. An astonishing 48,17,441 applicants have applied for these positions, surprising even the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board with the overwhelming response.
Originally planned to take place in 69 districts, the UP Police Recruitment Exam is now being conducted in all 75 districts due to the large number of applicants. To facilitate the recruitment process, 2377 examination centres have been established.

Male candidates from the General/OBC and SC categories must meet certain height requirements for physical testing, with a minimum height of 168 cm. Male candidates from the ST category may be 8 cm taller, with a minimum height requirement of 160 cm. Additionally, male candidates from the General, OBC and SC categories should have a minimum chest measurement of 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion. Candidates in the SC category are eligible for a relaxation of chest size, with minimum requirements of 77 cm before expansion and 82 cm after expansion.
