Ravi Attri, the mastermind who leaked the UP Police recruitment exam paper, and his associate Vikram Pahal (head constable of Delhi Police) are very clever. Vikram Pahal, a policeman from his own department and Ravi Attri lived in a rented flat in Delhi and were running the entire gang from here. This flat was taken on rent for this business and the entire setup for burglary in online examinations was made at this place. Whenever there was an examination, five to six laptops were installed here and they used to remotely copy the computers of the examination center online.

Ravi Attri, who leaked the UP Police constable recruitment exam paper, was arrested by the Meerut unit of STF. Along with Ravi Attri, the names of two Delhi Police accused Vikram Pahal and another, who used to protect Ravi, were revealed. On the instigation of these two, Ravi Attri had taken a flat on rent in Patel Nagar area. Actually, Vikram and another policeman Robin also used to stay in this flat. At all the places where Ravi Attri had set up computer labs for cheating in online competitive exams, cheating was done sitting in this flat. Whenever cheating had to be done in the examination, a complete command center was made by installing five to six computers here. After this, they used to crack the examination by taking the computer lab's computer on remote. After copying, Vikram used to keep these laptops, routers and other items safely with him. STF is now looking for Vikram Pahal (head constable of Delhi Police) and Robin who works in the police department in this case. After their arrest, all the electronic devices, laptops and other items will be recovered, and will also help in breaking the gang's network.

STF will take Ravi Attri on remand
After his arrest, Ravi Attri was presented before the court, from where the accused was sent to jail. STF will now take the accused on remand and will be interrogated. On the behest of accused Ravi Attri, an operation will be launched to arrest dozens of accused including Ankit, Vikram Pahal and his associate Robin. STF is also preparing to arrest the accused in this case as gangsters.

Many accused associated with the gang including Vikram Pahal and his other associates are absconding and are being searched. At the same time, Ravi will be taken on remand and interrogated and action is to be taken at some places. – Brijesh Singh, ASP STF.
