UPPSC Recruitment 2024: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has given a gift to the competitive students preparing for the recruitment of Agricultural Services. According to the Commission's Deputy Secretary Virendramani Tripathi, the advertisement for recruitment to 268 posts under the Combined State Agricultural Service Examination 2024 will be released in the first week of April. The Commission had mentioned this recruitment in the calendar released on January 12. Recruitment is going to start after getting approval from the government regarding the examination plan and curriculum. However, the competitive students are a little disappointed due to less number of posts.
Before 2020, recruitment for the posts of District Horticulture Officer Grade-2, Grade-1 Principal, Government Food Science Training Center/Food Processing Officer Grade-2, Senior Technical Assistant etc. under Agricultural Service was done through PCS. For the first time, the Commission had issued a separate advertisement for Agricultural Services on 29 December 2020. At that time, 73792 candidates had applied for 564 posts. Since then this recruitment did not come in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Agriculture competitive students Abhinav Mishra, Nikhil Shukla, Amit Shukla, Brijendra Pandey etc. have demanded to issue recruitment advertisement by including all the vacant posts. Students say that the Commission has received requisition for more than 360 posts but recruitment is being done on 268 posts.
Interview on five posts in the first week of April
Interviews for five direct recruitment posts in UPPSC will be held in the first week of April. According to the information of Dashrath Kumar, Section Officer, Interview Cell of the Commission, the interview for four posts of Principal in AYUSH Department and one post of Deputy Director Training Division in Training Division under State Planning Institute, Lucknow is proposed in the first week of April.
