IAS officer Kinjal Singh, who has become an inspiration for the youth with her tough struggle, is once again in the news. UP's IAS officer Kinjal has filed a case against a person running a YouTube channel in Lucknow's Gomtinagar police station. She alleges that the channel operator has spread objectionable and wrong information about her late parents on social media. Gomtinagar police is investigating. IAS Kinjal Singh, a resident of Gomtinagar Vipulkhand, filed a case that Usman Saifi alias Usman Ali of Gonda, who runs his YouTube channel named Usman Saifi Safar. On June 20, Usman Saifi broadcast a video related to her late parents on his YouTube channel and blog, which is completely misleading. The video has been broadcast as part of a conspiracy to hurt her dignity and character assassination. The IAS officer says that her image is being tarnished by this video. Before posting this news, the YouTube operator did not take consent from any member of her family. According to Inspector Gomtinagar Deepak Pandey, based on the complaint by IAS Kinjal Singh, a case has been registered against the accused Usman Saifi and investigation is being carried out.

Kinjal Singh's success story is no less than a film story
Born in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, Kinjal Singh's success story is very inspiring for the youth. She was only two years old when her father was murdered. Her father KP Singh was working as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. Her father's colleagues killed him in a fake encounter in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Her mother Vibha Singh was pregnant at the time of her father's death. After 6 months, she gave birth to another daughter, whom she named Pranjal. Her mother used to come from Ballia to the Supreme Court in Delhi for justice.

Kinjal wanted to fulfill her father's dream of becoming an IAS officer. After school education, she took admission in the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College of Delhi University. In the year 2004, mother Vibha died due to cancer. After the death of her mother, Kinjal returned to college to give her final exams and topped Delhi University. After this, she also called her younger sister Pranjal Singh to Delhi. Both the sisters started preparing for UPSC together. Kinjal got 25th rank in the year 2008. Pranjal also passed the UPSC exam with 252nd rank. Pranjal is an IRS officer.

After becoming IAS and IRS officers, the sisters decided to get justice for their father and put the culprits behind his murder behind bars. Their determination shook the entire justice system and finally the verdict came in their favour in 2013. More than three decades after their father's murder, the court sentenced all 18 accused in the murder of their father DSP Singh.

Kinjal Singh is currently the Director General of Medical Education Department in UP.
