UPSC Revised Exam Calendar 2024: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the revised exam calendar for the year 2024 on Monday. The preliminary examination will now be held on 16th June. The Commission has changed the dates of many examinations. Its notification has been issued. Candidates can check the exam date of 2024 by visiting the website upsc.gov.in. According to the released calendar, the date of UPSC Civil Service Prelims Exam 2024 and IFS (Indian Forest Service) 2024 has been changed. Earlier this exam was on 26th May, now it will be held on 16th June. The change in the exam date was announced by UPSC soon after the Lok Sabha election date was announced.
UPSC has said that the exam dates can be changed as per the need. Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 will be conducted from September 20, which will last for five days. Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2024 will be conducted from 24th November. UPSC has kept July 7, August 10, October 19, December 21 as reserve dates for the exam. If any examination is cancelled, it will be conducted on the reserved date. NDA and CDS-KK will be organized on September 1. Notification for NDA-KK and CDS-KK will be released on May 15. Applications can be made till June 4. The exam will be held on September 1st. The notification for CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment Examination 2024 was released on 24 April. Candidates will be able to apply till May 14 and the exam will be held on August 4.

Change in date of UGC NET exam on 18th June
The date of UGC NET was changed on Monday. Now it will happen on 18th June. UPSC Civil Services 2024 preliminary exam was on June 16. NET date was on this day. Due to the clash of dates of both the examinations, there was confusion among thousands of students. UGC Chairman Prof. M Jagadish Kumar said that the date has been changed. The application process is going on. The last date is 10th May.
