UPSC Mains Result 2024:The Union Public Service Commission is expected to release the UPSC Mains Result 2024 soon.

Candidates who had appeared for Civil Services Main Examination 2024 can check the result on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in after it is announced. The results can also be accessed at upsconline.nic.in

While the official date, and time for the results have not yet been mentioned by the UPSC, yearly trends show that Mains results are usually declared around the first week of December. In 2023, the UPSC Mains Results were declared on December 8.

UPSC Examination 2024: How many vacancies

For this year, the Commission seeks to fill over 1000 vacancies spread across different categories such as SC, OBC and General categories. Candidates who score above the cut-off marks will be recruited to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central services and posts.

UPSC Mains Result 2024: Personality test venue

Once a candidate has cleared the Mains, the person would be eligible to sit for the personality test. The personality test of the qualified candidates is likely to take place at the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, in Delhi.

The interview and personality test will carry 275 marks, and has no with no minimum qualifying marks.

UPSC Mains Result 2024: What is the cut-off

The total marks for the UPSC Mains is 1750. Of this, 25 per cent is the qualifying percentage for qualifying papers and 10 per cent for merit papers. The pass marks for the UPSC Mains are usually above 710 out of 1750 marks.
