UPSC IAS Prelims Exam 2024: The Civil Service Examination Prelims (CSE) examination conducted by UPSC will be conducted on 16 June 2024. This is the first step for the candidates who are dreaming of becoming IAS, IPS officers. UPSC CSE Prelims exam will be conducted in 80 examination centers this year. Let us tell you, through this recruitment exam, a total of 1,056 vacancies will be filled. Out of which 40 vacancies are reserved for PwPD category candidates. Let us tell you, UPSC Prelims General Studies Paper – I will be conducted for a total of 200 marks. Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the paper. Paper II will also be of 200 marks and two hours will be given to solve this paper. UPSC CSE Prelims is a qualifying paper. Its marks will not be added to the final result. Candidates who qualify this examination will be given a chance to appear in the UPSC Mains examination.
