WB Police SI registration: West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has started the registration process for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector (UB) and Sub-Inspector (AB). Eligible candidates can apply for the posts on the official website wbpolice.gov.in till April 7, 2024. Before applying, candidates are advised to read the information related to recruitment, only then start the further process.
Know about the posts
A total of 464 Sub-Inspector posts will be filled through the recruitment drive. Of which 264 (164 male, 100 female) and 200 are for Armed Branch.
Educational qualification

age limit
For these posts, the minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years and maximum age should be 30 years. Relaxation in upper age limit has been given for reserved category candidates.

application fees
The registration fee for all categories except SC/ST (West Bengal only) is Rs 270, while candidates belonging to SC, ST category (West Bengal only) will have to pay only Rs 20 processing fee.
