To maintain the quality of research in BRABU, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai constituted a PhD cell on Wednesday. This cell will look at the thesis of the students doing PhD and check whether their research has been published in the peer journal of UGC or not. The thesis of science students will be tested on the basis of impact. Earlier, the Vice Chancellor held a meeting of the university officials, deans, presidents and professors in the Senate Hall. Vice Chancellor Prof. Rai expressed satisfaction over the preparations made so far for the NAAC-2024 evaluation. He appealed to the members present to cooperate in the form of 'Samarpan Nidhi' to strengthen the Alumni Association financially and said that they should continue to cooperate in the preparations for the NAAC evaluation. The university will do whatever is necessary to increase the honor and grading of the university.
The university's closed health center will start functioning from October 2. The Vice Chancellor said that OPD will start functioning in the university health center on October 2. Efforts will be made to sign an MoU with a big hospital in the city so that affordable health facilities can be made available to the members working in the university. Nine counseling centers will be opened in the university for the convenience of the students.
The university signed an agreement with Shubham Sanstha
During the meeting, an MoU was signed with 'Shubham', an organization working for blind students. The organization's president Sangeeta Agarwal was present on this occasion. University Alumni Association president Dr. Sanjay Sinha said that the target is to deposit an amount of one crore in the association's account by September 15.
So that the university gets a respectable grade in NAAC. BUTA President Prof. Anil Ojha said that the teachers' union is determined to walk hand in hand with the university in the preparations for the NAAC assessment.
Vidwan App will be launched in Bihar University
In the meeting, Pushpam gave information about 'Vidwan App'. Through this app, professors can connect with the global education world and other students of the country and the world can also benefit from their scholarship. For this, all professors will have to create a Vidwan ID and register. The university has given the responsibility to Dr. Sarvesh Dubey for information related to the app.
On this occasion, Dean of Students Prof. B.S. Rai, Registrar Prof. Aparajita Krishna along with all the Deans, Heads of Departments and Professors were present. The program was conducted by IQSC Director Prof. Kalyan Kumar Jha.
