On the fourth day of UP Police Recruitment Examination in all 67 districts of Uttar Pradesh, 6,91,936 candidates appeared for the examination at 1174 centers in 67 districts of the state on Friday. The vigilant police registered 19 FIRs for attempting to hack the examination, while 22 accused were arrested. Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Rajiv Krishna, said that on the second day of the examination, 6,91,936 candidates appeared for the examination in two shifts. In this, 3,44,590 candidates appeared in the first shift, while 4,01,870 had downloaded the admit card. 61 suspicious candidates were also caught in this shift. However, they were allowed to take the paper. Similarly, 3,47,346 candidates appeared in the second shift, while 4,01,972 had downloaded the admit card. 33 suspicious candidates were caught in this shift.

The crowd was so huge that the students entered the bus through the window
Thousands of candidates took the help of roadways bus on Friday to appear in the police recruitment examination and return home. The movement of candidates and their family members started at Civil Lines, Leader Road, Zero Road bus stand from Thursday night itself. This sequence continued till Friday morning. After the examination on Friday afternoon, a large number of candidates started coming to the Civil Lines bus stand. As soon as the bus arrived, it was getting full within a few minutes. Students started entering the bus through the window. Due to the presence of police force, there was no disturbance. Female candidates had trouble boarding the bus. Civil Lines in-charge Urmila Singh got the girl students a place in the bus with the help of guards and roadways employees. Like last time, this time also the maximum crowd was seen in the buses of Purvanchal route. To avoid crowd gathering at the bus stand, additional buses were operated for Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Basti, Banaras, Gorakhpur and additional trips of buses were also increased. PRO Ajay Srivastava said that buses are being operated continuously. Till September 1, free travel facility will be provided to the candidates in all categories of roadways buses.

After the constable recruitment exam, the trains also witnessed a huge rush of candidates. The railways ran two special trains from Prayagraj Rambagh to Ballia via Varanasi.
