The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) gearing up to unveil the Class 10 datesheet. According to the reports, the date sheet is anticipated to be released by the first week of November. However, the official date and time for this release have not yet been announced by the board. Once available, students will have the opportunity to access and review the date sheet on the official CBSE websites at cbse.gov.in and cbse.nic.in.
The CBSE has previously disclosed that the board exam for the year 2024 is scheduled to take place from February 15 to April 10, spanning approximately 55 days. Although a detailed and comprehensive schedule is yet to be officially released, it is expected to be made available in the near future.
CBSE released the sample papers for class 10 earlier. As students await the formal release of the date sheet, they can access and download these sample papers for different years. These sample papers are accessible through the official CBSE website at cbseacademic.nic.in.
How to Download CBSE Class 10 Sample Papers?
Step 1: Navigate to cbseacademic.nic.in, the official website of CBSE.
Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the Sample Question Paper Tab.
Step 3: There, you will find sample papers from different years.
Step 4: Now, a set of sample question papers and a marking scheme broken down by subject will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and take a printout of the sample paper according to your preference.
By attempting the provided sample papers, students can gain a deeper understanding of the examination format and the types of questions they can expect to encounter. These sample papers are believed to reflect the format of the main examination papers used in the previous year, as indicated by feedback from both professors and students. Furthermore, working through these practice papers can aid students in enhancing their speed and precision, thus facilitating their exam preparation process.
In the upcoming class 10 board exams, the question distribution will comprise 50 percent competency or case-based questions, 20 per cent response-type questions, 20 per cent multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and 30 per cent constructed response questions, encompassing both short answer and long answer questions. For class 12, the question format will consist of 40 per cent competency/case-based questions, 20 per cent response-type questions, 20 per cent MCQs, and 40 percent constructed response questions.
